Norzide™ YZ-110HS Zirconia

Provides premium performance for metal forming, stamping tools, battery tooling, industrial knives and petroleum pumps.  The mechanical strength of YZ-110HS approaches typical tungsten carbide values and are much higher than those of sintered alumina or silicon nitride.  The absence of a metal phase greatly improves corrosion wear rate over the various grades of tungsten carbide.

Norzide™ TXP is a fine grain material (< micron) that is 100% tetragonal zirconia which makes Norzide substantially different from PSZ and other traditional ceramics.

Norzide™ zirconia TXP has excellent resistance to abrasive corrosion and is most suitable for circular knives and blades especially where complex, dual phase wear conditions exist.
